Suffering A Seizure
After a couple of years, Bugorski started to develop a seizure that we rarely see. It is called the tonic-clonic seizure, which is something that is present in only 10 percent of people with epilepsy. It normally unfolds after hyperactivity in a localized region in the brain. It is the overactivity that causes the seizure. Normally, they occur on a single side of the brain. However, Bugoski got it after being hit by the particle beam, which is why the radiation he experienced damaged all the surrounding regions that it made contact with.
