Ford became quite the trend-setter when it released the Fusion Energi. The car is pitched as a a luxury eco-friendly midsize sedan, and was designed to tie-in with the new government eco-friendly guidelines. A Ford spokesman said “Government incentives play a role in the steep depreciation of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles as their resale value is based on their lower effective post-incentive sticker price.” Well while it is groundbreaking, this plug-in Ford also has a major depreciation rate of 69.4%.

When the Mercedes S-Class was released by the automaker, it quickly became its signature sedan. As you can imagine, the S-Class boasts the full range of top-of-the-line tech features, making it an expensive purchase if bought new. With all the advanced features, we can also imagine that it will be pricey for repairs and new parts. However, it also happens to have an epic depreciation value at a rate of 69.9%.
