Acura ZDX

As part of Acura’s ambitious attempt to launch a sporty but all-wheel drive crossover model, the ZDX was the final product. Although it was equipped with a low-roofline and powerful engine, the ZDX was on the market for just 4 short years from 2010-2013. This was perhaps because it sounded picture-perfect on paper, but some criticized it as ‘strange’ or ‘ugly’. Still, the car was designed with Acura’s signature qualities, and does offer a luxurious interior, chic features and an impressive engine, but these went unnoticed by the market. The standard model was originally launched at a price tag of $35k, but now you can find one for as low as $13k, which is actually a steal.

Maybach 57/62

It sounds surprising that the Maybach, which is the embodiment of an extravagant and luxurious sedan, actually has one of the worst depreciation rates ever. At it’s launch in 2006 the Maybach 57’s base price was edging towards the $400k mark and the 62 S model was even put on the market for as high as $500,000. That sounds a little bit insane for a car, but thanks to some depreciation, you can now find one for around  $50km or even lower. This is around the same price as a mid-size SUV, and you can still become the proud owner of one of the most prestigious cars in the world.
