When Famke Janssen starred as Jean Grey in the X-Men franchise, her height caused some friction with her co-stars. Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, stands at 6’2″ – a full foot taller than the character in the comic books. And James Marsden, who portrayed Grey’s lover Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops, is only 5’9″ tall. As a consequence, he was forced to wear shoe lifts to appear as tall as her.
