Risks With Madeline
While Matt and Liz were so happy to welcome their new daughter into the world, they had a few things to worry about. All premature births have some health risks. Madeline was born very prematurely so she risks things like pneumonia, meningitis, vision and hearing problems.

First Blog Post
Despite the early birth, Matt wrote his first blog post. It was published on March 24, 2008. Matt announced the birth of his first daughter. He stated, “Madeline is here!” and “The proud parents will continue to update everyone on our beautiful baby. Look forward to even more good news.” 4 days later Matt would write a very different blog post.
