Eventually, Matt decided to join forces with some of his biggest supports to start a charity organization in honor of his wife. They decided to name it The Liz Longelin Foundation.

The foundation gained a lot of supported and at one event it raised over $4,000! Matt thought this was too much and decided to donate the money to widows and widowers who followed his blog. He thought they needed it more than him.
