Noah thought he didn’t need the money as much as Johal did, but what was happening? The older man started to get overwhelmed by emotions. “Oh my God,” he said and stood up. He felt warm tears rolling down his cheeks. Noticing his reaction, Johal gave Noah a tight hug. The young man rubbed Noah’s back to comfort him. “What you did that was really inspiring,” Johal said. “Please don’t cry. Just give me a smile.” Trying to cheer up the crying man, Johal still owed him an explanation.

The homeless guy asked Johal if he was sure that he wanted to give Noah such a large amount of money. “What you did was incredibly crazy,” Johal responded. “So go back to Target. Get the sleeping bag, get all the stuff you had, and then get more stuff in. But get a room to sleep in,” he added. Then Johal asked Noah to take a seat on the bench with him. The time had come for Johal to reveal his real identity and to tell Noah his actual purpose.
