The Guy’s Problem
The young man, whose name is Johal, was talking to someone on his phone. Noah couldn’t help but overhear what Johal was saying. Fidgeting on the seat, he said, “I have no money on me right now.” He continued, “She’s really sick, and she really needs the medicine.” Noah could tell the man was agitated from the man’s voice. Placing a hand on his chin, Noah shifted his attention to Johal. “It seriously sucks living paycheck to paycheck when you don’t have money for your daughter’s medicine. And you can’t do anything,” the young man told the person on the other line, stressed out. He had no idea another person had been listening to him.
Feeling Hopeless
Johal said, “I’m so lost right now. Just let me know if you can help me out with any money because I really need to get my daughter medicine.” After ending the call, he sighed deeply in exasperation. “Oh my God,” the young man whimpered. It looked like he weighted the whole world on his shoulders. This was when Noah stood up and talked to him. Noah asked, “You alright, dude?”
