Tile countertops were popular in the 1970s, but they were difficult to keep clean and detracted from the aesthetic of our home. We would never consider using countertops in our home, but if we did, it would look like it was built in the 1940s. In five years, we should replace those tiles with materials that are still fashionable, such as marble, wood, or maybe granite.

Hanging Frames Too Low
We couldn’t see the hanging frames because they were too low, and we were feeling neck or back pain at the time. It’s possible that it will just make matters worse. If we hang the image on the walls too low, the walls may appear shorter than they should be. Picture frames should be hung around 60″ from the ground to keep your home looking modern without compromising the height of the walls.
