Tenzin Gyasto, or the 14th Dalai Lama, assumed full political power of Tibet in 1950. He has many followers from an early age. He had a pretty interesting upbringing and life prior to becoming Dalai Lama. He was born into a farm family in 1935, and took full power of Tibet when he was only 15 years old!
