Carol Wayne was a regular on The Tonight Show. She appeared regularly as the Matinee Lady. Here you see her as a guest being interviewed on The Johnny Carson Show. This appearance was almost exactly one year before she died while on vacation in Mexico. Her cause of death is still a mystery to this day.

Many on the set of “Some Like It Hot,” thought Marilyn Monroe was difficult to work with. Perhaps it was due to her poor concentration and addiction to prescription medicine. She had a hard time reciting lines. It took her 47 times to get the line “it’s me, Sugar” right. Poor girl.
