Since it is a fantasy series, you can expect many scenes they had to use a green screen for. However, we doubt that anything needed it more than the scenes with the Wall and dragons! HBO had a huge budget for the show, which is how we got to see Jon climb the Wall with the Wildlings in season three. While there was an actual vertical wall, it was only 30 feet high… not 300.
