Michael has since competed in the Springbok Challenge against South Africa. He now visits schools and youth clubs in the West Midlands on a regular basis to teach keep-fit and exercise classes. In 2019, he revealed that he had been hospitalized with pneumonia and also suffered from a shoulder injury. The 55-year-old athlete attributed the injury to years of strenuous workouts for the iconic ITV show.

Fox was dubbed the ‘Gladiator who most resembles a muscly Meryl Streep’ (in my head). Following the show, she spent time in South Africa presenting a variety of television shows before returning to the UK and working as a freelance nutritionist and ‘lifestyle consultant.’ Her website appears to be hosted on Geocities.
