26. Simon Fraser University: Terry Fox Field
Burnaby, British Columbia (Canada)
Home to the Simon Fraser University Clan, Terry Fox Field used to leave much to the football team’s imagination. Until recently, the only NCAA school’s home field outside the U.S. had no permanent grandstand. It is still advisable for anyone planning a game to bring a blanket and a jacket, as the stadium is on top of a mountain and can be chilly and rainy. The clan usually struggles with attendance, but the annual Shrum Bowl with Simon Fraser’s archrival, British Columbia University, attracts thousands of fans.
25. University of New Mexico: Dreamstyle Stadium
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Dreamstyle Stadium, Home of the Lobos, has not seen many wins. The New Mexico program hasn’t won a conference title in over four decades, making for a great game-day atmosphere. It’s an old stadium that opened in 1960 and gives the term “nosebleed seats” a new meaning because it’s located about a mile above sea level. The stadium’s amenities are just OK, but the top rows’ views are worth the price of admission during a New Mexico sunset.
