Ther’s no doubt that Subway is a favorite all around the world. However, they’ve also faced a few closures since they first opened. In 2018, Subway had to shut down a massive 1,000 restaurants in the U.S. Undofteuntely 2019, wasn’t a good year for them either as they had further closures. However, 2019 unfortunately, had more closures in store. They are still the biggest chain of restaurants around the world.

In 2019, Chipotle shut over 50 branches. The chain is actually becoming more well-known even though they have had some major setbacks in recent years which has impacted the company’s reputation. The restaurant experienced much criticism as well a few years ago when a customer got sick with E. coli. The event was linked to two outbreaks that were connected to the food they had consumed at Chipotle. On top of that, in 2019 a cyber-attack enabled the personal details of customers to be at risk. Although in 2019 they were able to open 150 new stores so they must be doing something right.
