Papa John’s

Papa John’s has been rated the 4th largest pizza delivery restaurant in the U.S but sadly they are not doing well. The founder landed himself in a difficult situation after using an awful racial slur last year, this caused him to resign. Not only were their customers furious but the change in management all played a vital role in the decrease in sales by 7.8%. Because of the huge change, they announced that many of their closures would take place from the beginning of 2019. The planned closures were set at around 250 branches.

Pie Five

If you were the one who always enjoyed a custom and handmade pizza, made just to your specific taste but also wanted to be ready in five minutes…then Pie Five is the place for you. It’s been less than a decade, but the smart concept caught on in the USA and expanded way past Texas. Sadly. just as fast as they developed a good reputation they rapidly began to lose sales. The chain had to shut over 30 restaurants in the past few years and will be closing even more in the year to come.
