Taco Bell
Supposed to be a Mexican inspired restaurant, Taco Bell may not be the best representation of authentic Mexican cuisine. So they chose to attempt an international expansion, outside of the U.S. However, this turned out to be quite pricey. Taco Bell had to shut down branches in Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and several other branches in Maine during 2019.

Pollo Tropical
A long time favorite for many years in Southern Florida, Pollo Tropical’s Caribbean cooking is a big hit. They began developing to other populations such as Cubans, Venezuelans, and Haitians, however, the company was unable to secure itself financially. Their objective was to open a branch or two in Texas but that never materialized either. As 2019 came round they had been through tragic financial losses and shut down 23 branches. In 2019, they continued closing shop to many of its key branches.
