Quite The Collector
Nope, Chris Webber is not a mere one hit wonder. It is fascinating to learn that he appreciates art as well! He collects African-American artifacts and some of the pieces are displayed at the Sacramento Central Library in California. Apparently, it began as a passing interest in African-American cultural history and ended up becoming a legit art collection. “I just thought I was going to put it in the hallway of my house. My friends were like, ‘You’re corny. You’re a nerd.’ I thought no one would care,” he explained. Webber’s collection has been regularly exhibited at public buildings and museums across the country. His mom, seen below, was the person who inspired him to start his collection because she kept many art pieces in their home during his childhood.
