An Incredible Season
Webber saw an opportunity and he took it. Nonetheless, he did not fail to impress and he continued to wow everyone with his talent. He led the Kings to a history-making season with 61 wins and just 21 losses. During the Western Conference Finals in 2002, the L.A. Lakers put a stop to the Kings’ dreams of appearing in the championship for the first time in 50 years. In his last few years with the team, Chris suffered some injuries and later joined the Philadelphia 76ers.
Better Luck Next Time
Sadly, his stint with the Philadelphia 76ers did not prove to be as successful as his time with the Sacramento Kings. He spent two years with the Sixers before returning to Michigan to join the Detroit Pistons.
