Harry Hill might not be all that well known in the United States, but we will have you know that the British comedian is big on television. This BAFTA Award winner is well-known for his goofy style and big-collared shirts. If you want to be frank about it, he is basically a walking cartoon. It was in 1992 that he got his breakthrough, but comedy was not his first choice of career. He actually underwent neuroscience training and earned a degree from the University of London. However, he eventually quit medicine since he “didn’t feel in control of what was happening.”
Shaquille O’Neal: Doctorate In Human Leadership
Many athletes go to college to play their sport, and once they make it big, they leave without graduating. However, famous retired NBA player Shaquille O’Neal went back to Barry University. Back in 2012, he received his doctorate degree from the said school. His thesis was on the value of human leadership. When people ask why he pursued a college degree, he responds by saying, “One, I promised my parents I would [follow my passion for education]. Two, I wanted to continue my education and three, I wanted to challenge myself.” Shaq also dreams of becoming a motivational speaker and then attaining a law degree.
