It was difficult to keep the eager kids under control, and as a result, their morning duties were behind schedule. Mrs. Nabors’ daily routine was so jumbled that she almost forgot to check the bags! Who would have guessed that literature could enthrall youngsters so much? Fortunately, she didn’t entirely forget; there was still time, and she had the youngsters ready to conduct the check.

Mrs. Nabors called out the bag check, and her pupils filed in. One girl stood there looking uneasy as the events unfolded. Mrs. Nabors became skeptical of the child, suspecting that she was carrying anything more than a prohibited energy drink in her backpack. When the instructor observed something moving within the bag, she proceeded to pick it up. She had seen many strange artifacts brought in by children over the years, but she had never seen one exactly like this.
