She married Roman Polanski, her The Fearless Vampire Killers costar and director in 1968. The saddest part of her death was that she was 8 months pregnant when she was murdered.

Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman became famous after starring in Casablanca. She had been in Swedish and German films even before that. She has been described as “arguably the most international star in the history of entertainment.” Director Anatole Litvak even said that “through all her troubles she held to the conviction that she had been true to herself and it made her quite a person.” She died of breast cancer in 1982.
