Brigitte Bardot
Brigitte Bardot was originally a dancer but went into acting in the ‘50s. She starred in And God Created Women by Robert Vadim, which served as her breakthrough. One American critic said that the star is “undeniably a creation of superlative craftsmanship.” She became famous during a conservative time and was even the subject of Simone de Beauvoir’s Brigitte Bardot and The Lolita Syndrome. While she is an animal rights activist, she has been fined for racial hatred 5 times.
Barbara Eden
Barbara Eden made a name for herself when she starred in I Dream of Jeannie. Apparently, the creators had been looking for a brunette star but was charmed by her audition! Even though they had to abandon their plan, we are sure that they do not regret their decision one bit. Good call!
