Mary’s mother died of breast cancer at the age of 56, while she was 29 years old. She went on to become a talented photographer and the author of a vegetarian cookbook. Her father’s company, MPL Communications, currently has her in charge of the photo department. Mary enjoys volunteering in her spare time in addition to her full-time job. She participates in several volunteer organizations. She married Alistair Donald, a director, and television executive, in 1998. Her father’s oldest of eight grandchildren, Arthur Donald, was born to her in 1999, making her his first grandchild. Elliot Donald, Mary’s younger brother, was born in 2002. The couple divorced in 2005. She married agent Simon Aboud in 2010. She and Aboud are the parents of two sons.

Lee showed up at an inopportune moment. Shortly after the Beatles broke up in 1970, her parents’ marriage was in serious trouble. In contrast, Ringo and Maureen will have to wait five years before filing for divorce. Lee rose to notoriety in 1989 after starring alongside her father in an Oldsmobile commercial. Around the same time, Lee co-founded Planet Alice, a Los Angeles shop specializing in fashionable 1960s items. Lee went on to work as a fashion designer and cosmetics artist when it closed down.
