After a few kicks, the door lock burst, swinging open wide. Susan’s doctor moved aside as the screaming started on the opposite side. Susan was struggling to breathe. Although it had been difficult, she had to force the door open because she needed to know what was happening right then and there.

Doctor Susan told her to stay while telling everyone else to go. She shouldn’t approach anyone too closely right now. The worried look on Susan’s doctor’s face told her all she needed to know about the prognosis for her and her unborn child, but Susan was resolute. She warned them that she would leave if they didn’t respond to her inquiries.
