Michael and Lee were desperately hoping to find Samuel. They decided to watch the area in the hope of seeing something that might lead them to Samuel. They were worried that nothing was going to be spotted, but after 15 minutes they noticed something. They think it was something that would help them, but they weren’t sure yet.

The men found Samuel’s car near Crangan Bay, which was situated off PCH. They weren’t certain if Samuel was alive, but now they spotted a car. Michael admitted from a later interview that the search for a car would have been impossible.
