During the search, Tony was so stressed mostly because he had no control over what was going to happen. He was trying to be optimistic towards Lee and his brother finding Samuel, but he couldn’t help but be anxious about what was to come. He hoped and prayed that they would not return without his son.

Time had run out, and Tony was no longer able to withstand the suspense. He had no way to reach them, so he started to feel bad for not being in the sky. He tried to convince himself that it was reasonable to stay behind, but he still felt sick in his stomach.
