When scientists unearth artifacts that have been buried beneath the ice for a significant amount of time, it is always an exciting time. Whether it be a cave or even something as incredible as a mammoth, we will not rest until we find it! Who can say for sure what other kinds of things might be hidden beneath the ice? Although it’s possible that we haven’t uncovered everything, we have found a LOT. There are some of these things that it’s hard for us to comprehend ice was able to devour. An Icy Lighthouse
In some of the world’s most frigid places, temperatures can drop to such lows that even complete architectural structures can become frozen solid. On the other hand, this kind of thing happens rather frequently in the state of Michigan in the United States. In the winter of 2021, this particular lighthouse is located on Lake Michigan, which is surrounded by extremely cold weather. It is very incredible to witness the effects that cold weather can have on things.
