Cameron Diaz left show business abruptly, which is what made it so shocking. A lot of people did not notice her absence even though she was one of the most famous stars at the time. You probably remember her from Charlie’s Angels, The Holiday, In Her Shoes, and There’s Something About Mary. She had a great career, that’s for sure. She took home four Golden Globes, for one thing. Despite this, she still retired from acting after appearing in Annie in 2014. We do not know why she decided to do this, although it seems like she just got tired of the industry. She now lives a quiet life with her beau Benji Madden.

In 2009, Mo’Nique won an Oscar for her performance in Precious. No one thought her career would decline after this, but that was what happened anyway. Apparently, Mo’Nique started to have attitude problems after she won the Academy Award. She had a haughty persona and refused to “play the Hollywood game”. Sadly, this was the wrong move.
