Horton’s Kids
Tucker Carlson is a longtime supporter of Horton’s Kids, a charity which helps at-risk children. Carlson said that it was CNN’s Jake Tapper who told him about the charity: “I remember being on the road with Jake in ’99 when we were both reporters covering the presidential race and him telling me about [Horton’s Kids],” Carlson told U.S. News. “I had three kids by that point, weirdly, so our support has been from afar, limited to financial support, but I’ve always been a fan since the beginning.”

Back in 2010, Carlson and former vice president Dick Cheney aide Neil Patel launched The Daily Caller, a political news website. As a result, Carlson was editor in chief, and he occasionally wrote a few opinion pieces with Patel. Also, Foster Freiss is just one of the site’s backers.
