Flying Shooters
Similar to a hoverboard, the U.S. Army worked on developing a platform that could fly! It was intended to give soldiers the ability to maneuver themselves in the air with the help of two powerful rotors. The project didn’t ever reach the battlefield since the flying object was too slow and too fragile for the battle zone.

Balloon Bombs
The Japanese gave their first blow to the Americans when they attacked Pearl Harbor during WWII. But that was their last influential air attack on the U.S. They attempted another strategy by sending around 9,000 balloons filled with bombs across the Pacific Ocean. They were only successful in killing one woman and five children… 70 years after the Second World War had ended.
