Reigning from Latvia, Ernests Gulbis started training professionally at the ripe young age of only 12 years. His highest ever world ranking is 130 as of November 2009. He won his first ATP Tour doubles title at the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships. He has also served the 14th fastest tennis serve at 240.3 km/h (149.3 mph) in 2007 during the St. Petersburg Open.

36-year-old Taylor Dent is now retired back home in America, but before he took off from tennis he was setting records. One such time was during the 2006 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament when he served at an incredible speed of 241.1 km/h (149.8 mph). This made him the 13th fastest server of all time.
