Probably a rule you weren’t aware of but almost all hotel maids clock out by 5:30PM. Therefore if you need something from housekeeping, be sure to ask earlier in the day.

First of all, hotel maids are known to break the rules here and there, however if they get caught? They are likely to lose their VIP roster and will in turn have to clean the less desirable and cheaper rooms. Or they can even have their hours docked.
