Jack Kramer
Jack Kramer is a legend in the tennis world, not just as a player but also due to his role in establishing how things run right now. He was a World No. 1 player for a number of years, and one of the most important people in the establishment of modern men’s “Open”-era tennis, he was THE leading promoter of professional tennis tours in the 50’s and 60’s. His consistent serve-and-volley game are extraordinary as was his ability to play “percentage tennis”.
Martina Navratilova
Between the years 1965 and 2005, Tennis magazine called Martina Navratilova the best female tennis player in the world. She won an incredible 18 Grand Slam singles titles during her heyday. Her tennis career started when she was a young child and saw its first bug success when she was 15 years old and she won the Czech national championship. 1973 was the turning point for her when she turned pro and traveled to the United States to compete.
