Pancho Gonzales
Also known as Richard Gonzales, Pancho was an American tennis player. He was the World No. 1 for an all-time record of eight years from 1952 to 1960. He also won 17 Major singles titles, including 15 Pro Slams and 2 Grand Slams. Get this, he taught himself how to be great, no one did it for him. He is still widely considered one of the greatest players in the history of the game.
Pete Sampras
When Pete Sampras retired from tennis in 2002, he was considered to be the best player of all-time. I mean just look at all he’s achieved in his 14 years – he earned over 43 million dollars earned, won 64 career titles, won 14 Grand Slam Singles Titles: 2 Australian, 7 Wimbledon, 5 US Open and was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007.
