DiNozzo is actually quite a huge fan of the television shows Airwolf and Magnum, P.I., both of which were also created by Donald P. Bellisario. Told you the guy was a genius.

Changes!
So the pilot for NCIS aired as a two-part episode of JAG in 2003. From there, two massive changes were created for the series. Which include a gimmick where Ducky talks to corpses, but from the corpse’s own point of view. Yeah, we’re happy that was dropped. Moreover the Viv Blackadder, played by Robyn Lively, was then replaced by Sasha Alexander’s character.
