Together with Alison, Howard had three daughters: Emily, Debra and Ashley. Recently, Stern confronted controversy over his supposed strained relationship with Emily. Emily became an observant orthodox Jew and it was reported that this 30 something year old faults her father for her lack of dating. In an interview she stated, “my dad’s emphasis on sexuality [in his career] kept me out of the dating ring [when I was younger].” The interview continues with her comments about her parents’ divorce, “I felt like the divorce came out of nowhere. I thought that sacred bond was so strong. He used to be one way, and then he marries a model.” Stern later responded to this interview on his show, but we’ll get to that.

Second Marriage
That model that Emily spoke of is none other than, Beth Ostrosky. Shortly before finalizing his divorce, he began dating Beth in 2000. Then, the two got engaged in 2007 and even had their ceremony officiated by Mark Consuelos, who is married to Kelly Ripa. Stern, eighteen years older than Ostrosky, is still married to her today.
