Sure, Stern has had his fair deal of upset with other celebrities. Usually, they feel insulted at something he said. Yet, things were a bit different during his early radio days when he had David Bowie on. Apparently, Bowie played some songs but refused to be interviewed. This really disappointed Stern since he hoped to discuss the musician’s work and journey. Perhaps, Bowie made it up to him when he performed specially for the radio star in 1998 at Stern’s 44th birthday.
