Okay, so Catherine knew there had to be more than she was witnessing going on here, but more importantly, her 17 month old daughter was in grave danger. Yet, Catherine felt paralyzed and in some sort of denial. How could this be real? Desperately, she tried to reason that she did not bring a dangerous threat into her home.
