Max Bretos

Max Bretos, an ESPN reporter, was suspended for a month in February 2012 and an unnamed writer was fired, as the pair had spewed racial slurs at Knicks player Jeremy Lin. Lin’s family is from Taiwan while Lin himself was born in the states. ESPN immediately apologized, “We again apologize, especially to Mr. Lin. His accomplishments are a source of great pride to the Asian-American community, including the Asian-American employees as ESPN.”
