Former ESPN sportscaster Bill Simmons publicly spoke out about some network bosses and their coverage of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. This then turned into a heavy public feud and Simmons left ESPN.

On his ESPN radio show, in 2015, Colin Cowherd said, “I’ve never bought into that ‘baseball is just too complex.’ A third of the sport is from the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic has not been known, in my lifetime, as having world-class academic abilities.” Obviously, that comment was not positively taken.
