Now, there’s no judgement made about this from our end, but many liked to point out that the three leading ladies on the show were all only married for less than ten years. People guessed it could have been their intense filming schedules that interfered with personal lives. Others imagined that so many men were lining up waiting to marry these lovely women. Whatever the reason, the thing the three actresses should be best remembered for is their fantastic roles on Gilligan’s Island!

Of course, Gilligan was a total goofball! Everyone was utterly confused as to why the Skipper kept this guy around! Yes, Gilligan could be a complete pest at times. However, if you know the backstory, then it all makes sense. The Skipper and Gilligan served in the Navy during WWII together. It was back then that Gilligan saved the Skipper from a depth charge. So, Skipper literally owed his life to this lovable buffoon.
