Jackie and Mack Robinson
The name Jackie Robinson probably rings a bell if you know your sporting and civil rights history. Jackie Robinson was an incredible ballplayer who is revered for breaking the color barrier. Mack Robinson, Jackie’s brother, was just as gifted though less remembered. Mack’s career peaked in the 1936 Berlin Olympics when he won an Olympic medal.
Jason and Jeremy Giambi
Lots of baseball brothers out there, eh? Jason Giambi was another big slugger in the steroid era. He spent much of his time playing for the Yankees, culminating and a 2000 AL MVP. Jeremy Giambi, Jason’s brother, played for six years but he never quite hit his stride, eventually falling out of the MLB.
