There is so much love in Connecticut for Renee Montgomery, we speculate. After she won a championship with the Huskies, Montgomery entered the draft undoubtedly hoping for a miracle. She would go on to get drafted fourth overall in the 2009 draft by the Minnesota Lynx, but then a year later, was traded to the Connecticut Sun.
