Yep, another Golden State Warrior. Klay Thompson is the second or third best pure shooter in the game — right behind a pair of his teammates. Thompson has also come a long way in order to become an above average defender. His numbers will take a hit due to the arrival of Kevin Durant. If he complains then he probably will go down on our list.

Damian Lillard
This will probably be our most controversial selection but it is time. Lillard is a Top 5 point guard in the NBA and he could make a run at the 3 spot before the end of the 2016 season. Lillard single handedly carries the Blazers and is in the midst of putting together an MVP season — averaging 31 PPG, 5 APG, and 5 RPG as of mid November 2016.
