How can you surpass that epic gold-winning dive? Somehow, Shaunae managed to make history again when she broke Allyson Felix’s 200 meter world record, by finishing in 21.76 seconds in 2017! Oh and at the World Championships in 2017 she won bronze. Also, she married her college sweetheart. So, you could say she’s doing pretty well post-Rio.

Jordyn Wieber
Sadly, this American gymnast did not make it to the all-around final. Though her teammates, Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas advanced, we still need to praise Jordyn Wieber’s talent. During the London Olympics, she placed 4th overall! Astoundinly, she had been competing on an injury! That’s pretty amazing.
