It seems like Monica “Jet” Carlson has everything you need to be a great Gladiator. Not only is she pretty, but she had great strength thanks to her background as a dancer. She has ten siblings, so she had to battle it out at home. She was able to wow the team as a Contender, which was how she became a Gladiator. Before that, she was a Portland Trail Blazers dancer. Jet has worked on campaigns for Athleta, Adidas, Nike, and Under Armour. These days, she is busy as a fitness advisor and personal trainer.

Considering the fact that sirens go off when you least expect it, Valerie Waugaman definitely had a great nickname on the show. Once she was on the stage, she could smash Contenders like no one else can. The Ohio native has an extensive sports background, which makes her the perfect Gladiator. Like her costars on the show, she is also super active in the world of fitness. Not only does the brunette focus on the physical aspect of it, but she has also made waves as a motivational speaker and a life coach. When she is not busy spreading her message, she lives in Ohio with her husband and daughter.
