Jim Starr, under the name Laser, stuck around for seven seasons of American Gladiators! Even though he was on the small side at only 230 pounds, he was a beast on the stage. He was able to make a career in the fitness industry and even worked with Life Time Fitness as the director of product development for some time. “I’ve become an avid mountain biker,” he said in an interview. He added, “I bike four days a week and then I’m at the gym lifting weights for the other three days. If I don’t get on that bike I’m really intense. Ask my wife.”

There are not a lot of people who could top Blaze in terms of durability and strength. Born Sha-Ri Pendleton, she already had serious muscles before she joined the cast of the show in 1989. After all, she was a bodybuilder and Olympic javelin thrower! She was on American Gladiators, but she now works as a substitute teacher in Bellflower, California when she is not busy maintaining her physique. She also works as a coach at St. John Bosco High! It is pretty cool to know that her son was on the team.
