Bill Belichick
The scariest thing about Bill Belichick is that we aren’t even sure if he has peaked as a coach. Belichick had an uneventful run with Cleveland from 91 to 95 before going to New England and changing everything. Belichick has won 13 Division Titles and 4 Super Bowl titles in 6 appearances. Belichick is looking locked and loaded for another decade of dominance even though he has already racked up a 223 – 113 record over 21 years of work. Some detractors will call Belichick a product of Tom Brady, but the Patriots success when Brady has been injured speaks volumes to the coaching staff keeping everyone prepared.
Vince Lombardi
Vince Lombardi is the greatest coach in football history and it is pretty hard to argue against it. Lombardi racked up five NFL championships with the Green By Packers from 1959 – 1967. Lombardi was almost untouchable in the postseason, going 9 – 1 in the playoffs. Lombardi won Super Bowl 1 and Super Bowl 2. Lombardi only coached a single year with the Washington Redskins before his life cut short due to colon cancer. Lombardi might have continued his winning ways if illness hadn’t slowed him down.
