Tom Landry

Tom Landry pretty much did it all but he’ll be remembered forever for his prolific winning ways: 20 straight seasons with winning records. Landry coached the Dallas Cowboys to two Super Bowl Championships (VI, XII) along the way to an incredible 250 – 162 – 6 record over 29 years of coaching. It’s safe to say that Landry was a shoe in Hall of Famer and his record winning ways may never be imitated. Landry wasn’t just a skilled coach, but he had turned the franchise around after a disastrous first year. Landry faltered to an 0 – 11 – 1 record in his first season and was on the verge of being fired before getting into his rhythm.

George Halas

George Halas is a Chicago legend and one of the most important names in the annals of football history. George Halas coached for over 40 years, racking up a 318 – 148 – 31 record over the span of his career. Halas won 6 NFL Championships along with 10 division titles. Halas walked Chicago pro football onto the big stage – having stayed with the franchise his entire career. Halas was known as ‘Papa Bear’ and for good reason – his teams were vicious and his reputation is untouchable.
